Over half of all Americans seek healthcare outside the traditional western-style model making this a $27 billion industry. Bay Area Houston is a very diverse community socially, culturally, ethnically, economically and educationally supported by multiple diverse industries except in healthcare. It has sustained a growth rate of 2.1% with people coming from all over the world primarily to support its two greater than one billion dollar industries: petrochemical and aerospace. This diversity promotes distinctive needs and lifestyles, which is found within the community. However, the diversity is lost in healthcare provision. With continued growth in the area there are many different healthcare businesses but none provide a comprehensive Integrated Medicine program to match this diversity.
